....And the Rocket Launcher is OP in DMC1. Launch>Rocket>Launch>Rocket forever.

DMC3 is the one I'm most excited to play. I might just play it first since I think it's a prequel anyways.

DMC2s biggest fault is the auto aim and the (lack of) difficulty. Oh, and the camera follows enemies and not Dante.

I'd reccomend playing through 1 and 2 first, just because.

And nah, you just launch with Lockon+Back+Triangle, and cancel into the rocket. It just gives you high style and damage against some of the tougher enemies.

Watching my friends playthrough this game pretty much confirmed what I expected from this game. Lackluster gameplay, horrible boss fights and awful music... combined with a story that is not even close to being as good as NT made it out to be.

[spoiler] I didn't expect Vergil to be such a crappy character in this one, that's quite a twist. Super Hacker Vergil, he is smarter and has a bigger dick than Dante... seriously NT? He also gets tossed around by pretty much everybody the whole game... being locked up, getting wrestled inside Mundus while getting saved by Dante at every moment possible. Of course the last fighting scene with him is also pretty dumb because-- surprise! He gets defeated by Dante very easily.

I just checked and it was 75% off last month. I missed that sale but even games like Resident Evil: ORC and Lost Planet 2 never really get sigificant discounts.

Personally I just can't wait until Capcom recovers from the decade long stupidity comma they have had and make a real game in their series. Seriously every game they make these days is lackluster or maybe I just can't accept what the industry has become.

It is a DMC game though. I don't think anyone is buying it for the story. I have put hundreds of hours in the previous games and couldn't tell you anything about the story in any of them.
